Robert M. Horkovich, has obtained over $5 billion in settlements and judgments from insurance companies for clients including the State of California, Fuller-Austin, Weyerhauser, Textron and AT&T. Bob has been engaged by the United Nations as insurance counsel on a number of specific projects.  As to asbestos insurance recoveries, Bob represents the Trusts in the Owens Corning, Congoleum, Fuller-Austin and Swan Transportation (Tyler Pipe) cases, the Debtor in the Asarco case, and the Asbestos Claimants' Committee in the W.R. Grace, PPG/Pittsburgh Corning, and A.P. Green bankruptcies.

William G. Passannante, co-chair of the firm's insurance recovery group, has represented policyholders in litigation and trial in major precedent-setting cases throughout the country.  He has represented The Glidden Company, The Trustees of Princeton University, HLTH Corporation/WebMD, Picker International, Weyerhaeuser, Occidental Chemical, and others.  In recent years, Bill has had particular success representing executives and companies in D&O coverage battles.

Rhonda D. Orin, managing partner of the firm’s DC office, has extensive experience in recovering insurance proceeds for policyholders across the country.  Her caseload ranges from multi-million-dollar environmental and asbestos disputes to products liability cases to complex contractual and statutory disputes among employers, third-party administrators, stop-loss insurance companies, plan sponsors and plan participants.
