Anderson Kill Once Again Partners with RIMS for PERK Educational Programs

New York, NY (September 17, 2010) - Anderson Kill is pleased to announce that once again it is partnering with Risk & Insurance Management Society (RIMS) to provide timely, educational programs to its members and industry experts through the PERK program.

This year, Anderson Kill offers the following two new sessions: Emerging Legal Issues in Insurance Risk Management - The program will address important issues of law and practice concerning property and liability insurance coverage claims.  The emphasis will be upon how to handle and settle lawsuits without forfeiting coverage under directors and officers and professional liability policies, legal issues concerning anti-concurrent causation clauses, and developments in the law of coverage for product liability claims.Claims Handling - How to Get Claims Paid During Difficult Economic Times - The current economic climate has placed policyholders between a rock and a hard place - increasing the need to get outstanding claims paid promptly while simultaneously putting cost constraints on pursuit of such claims.  This session will address how to efficiently pursue claims without sacrificing recovery by focusing on key strategies and tactics, as well as pitfalls to be avoided by every policyholder.In addition, back by popular demand, the following two sessions are available:Ultrafine Print: How to Read an Insurance Policy - This session is designed for the new risk manager or insurance professional who needs to understand the basics of reading an insurance policy.  We will discuss coverage provisions; conditions & exclusions; and common hurdles to coverage.  Our objective is to better equip new insurance professionals to understand and make use of the insurance they purchase. Understanding Key E&O, D&O and Fiduciary Liability Insurance Issues - Designed to give the risk management professional an overview of significant cutting-edge issues they face in the dynamic market and claims environment for E&O, D&O and fiduciary liability insurance.
