Maya Neski is an attorney in Anderson Kill’s New York office and a member of the firm’s Insurance Recovery Group and Restaurants, Retail, and Hospitality Group. She focuses her practice on insurance recovery, exclusively on behalf of policyholders.

While attending St. John’s University School of Law, Maya served as an Executive Articles Editor on the New York International Law Review Journal and was a student fellow at the St. John’s University School of Law Center for International and Comparative Law. At St. John’s Maya was also a teaching assistant in Legal Writing, a research assistant for the Office of Academic Achievement, a student mentor, an extern at a New York law firm where her work focused on real estate law, and a summer associate at Anderson Kill. Maya received the Dean’s Award for Excellence in Legal Writing, International Trade Law, and Externship Seminar.

While still an undergraduate, Maya spent two semesters as a policy intern through the Rhode Island State Government Internship Program where she conducted research on areas in need of policy reform, drafted potential legislation, and presented her proposals to the Rhode Island House and Senate Policy Offices. Maya was also co-president of the college’s chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha, the National Political Science Honor Society.
