Anderson Kill is pleased to announce that Daniel F. McGuire, a versatile litigator with a practice in Westchester and Connecticut, is joining the firm’s Stamford, CT office as a shareholder.

Dan focuses his practice on disputes involving business torts, contract, employment, and securities law, as well as on white collar defense. He represents clients before the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), and the Connecticut Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities (CHRO), as well as clients with claims and grievances against attorneys. He has extensive experience in arbitration and mediation and takes pride in finding creative ways to settle cases where settlement best aligns with his clients’ interests.

Prior to founding D.F. McGuire & Associates, LLC twelve years ago, Dan worked at several law firms, where he acquired a breadth of experience in business torts, contract,  employment, and securities law.  Dan also worked at a boutique law firm in New York City where he focused on immigration matters, including the preparation of petitions for visas, permanent residence, and naturalization, and advised clients on immigration planning as it intersected with their business needs.  He is also a former aide to U.S. Senator Carl Levin and U.S. Congresswoman Nita Lowey.

Dan received his Bachelor‘s degree cum laude from Harvard University and his Juris Doctor from Penn State.  He is licensed to practice in the courts of Connecticut, New York,  New Jersey, and in the District of Columbia, as well as in federal district courts of the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.

Dan has been recognized by Super Lawyers for business and general litigation in both Connecticut (2014 – present day) and New York (2015).
