Anderson Kill is pleased to announce that Grant E. Brown, an attorney in the firm’s New York office and co-chair of the firm’s Disasters and Professional Liability Insurance Recovery Groups, has been promoted to shareholder, effective January 1, 2026.

Grant represents policyholders in all types of coverage disputes matters with a focus on securing insurance for large-scale property and business interruption loss from natural and man-made disasters.  Grant also has extensive experience litigating insurance recovery matters involving long-tail toxic tort and asbestos claims, D&O and professional liability coverage, and commercial general liability coverage.  He has been recognized by Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch since 2024.

Prior to joining Anderson Kill in 2018, Grant clerked for the Honorable Deborah S. Eyler on the Maryland Court of Special Appeals.   He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, where he was an associate editor of the Maryland Law Review.
