Anderson Kill today announced formation of a Business and Real Estate Solutions Industry Group, integrating transactional and litigation practice groups to deliver a single point of contact for business clients navigating complex, cross-disciplinary challenges.

Building on Anderson Kill’s longstanding tradition of cross-practice collaboration, the Group draws on the collective experience of attorneys focused on corporate, litigation, real estate, commercial transactions, financing, construction, restructuring, and government relations to provide coordinated advice tailored to the full scope of a client’s operations.

The Business/Real Estate Group is co-chaired by Bradley L. Gerstman, who heads Anderson Kill’s Government Relations Group, and Richard J. Sandor Jr., chair of the firm’s Real Estate and Finance Group.

A New York government relations attorney, lobbyist, and political strategist with more than 20 years of experience, Mr. Gerstman advises businesses, developers, investors, institutions, trade associations, and advocacy organizations facing high-stakes government challenges or advancing politically sensitive development projects.

Mr. Sandor assists clients in commercial real estate transactions, real estate financing and commercial lending, construction law, corporate law, green technology projects,  IDA bond financing and straight lease transactions and leasing. He also represents banks, companies, organizations, and businesses on a wide range of corporate transactions.

The Group’s core offering spans six practice areas:

• Business Law / Corporate — formation, governance, transactions, contracts, and general corporate counsel
• Commercial Litigation — business disputes, contract litigation, and related trial and appellate work
• Real Estate — acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, financing, and development matters
• Construction — project counsel, contract negotiation, and construction-related disputes
• Bankruptcy & Restructuring — creditor and debtor representation, workouts, and insolvency proceedings
• Government Relations — regulatory strategy, public affairs, and engagement with government stakeholders

As needed, the Group also draws on Anderson Kill’s strong White Collar and Trusts & Estates practices.
