This webinar will examine three critical issues affecting insurance coverage for COVID-19 business interruption claims: whether physical loss or damage occurred; the effect of the virus exclusion; and the availability of civil authority coverage.  The presentation will be in a ‘point/counterpoint’ format.  Attorneys for Anderson Kill will first present on why coverage should exist, and then attorneys from Bressler Amery will rebut.  The webinar will also address the current status of legislative initiatives and regulatory guidance to deal with COVID-19 insurance coverage, and the best practices for making a claim.
