PFAS – the forever chemical – is in our groundwater and in our blood. PFAS are in a host of consumer products.  The New York Times predicted that PFAS will produce a bigger litigation wave than asbestos.  While PFAS is a new liability, insurance coverage for PFAS will be based upon traditional insurance law principles which have found that in many circumstances, companies will be able to access their historic general liability policies to pay for PFAS liability.

This webinar will provide an overview of PFAS liability and recent enforcement activity.  It will examine PFAS’s impact on the current insurance market.  It then will set forth what a company must do to secure insurance coverage for PFAS.  As with asbestos, any company that may have PFAS exposure should evaluate its insurance coverage.
