Edward J. Stein has been a litigator in Anderson Kill's insurance coverage group since 1997. Currently Deputy General Counsel, he served as the firm's general counsel and ethics partner for more than a decade.

Ted has represented policyholders in environmental, directors and officers, professional liability, fidelity, and other insurance coverage claims against U.S. and London market insurers. He has extensive pre-trial, trial and ADR experience in these matters. Ted also has represented a broad range of clients in business, banking, and real estate litigation and in environmental litigation and compliance matters.

Before joining the firm, Ted represented policyholders in similar insurance disputes and environmental matters as an associate with law firms in Los Angeles, California and Boston, Massachusetts.

Ted has taught at Cardozo School of Law as an Adjunct Professor of Lawyering and Legal Writing. He is a past member of the editorial board of IRMI's CGL Reporter.
