Sam has won acquittals in high profile cases, and he has represented clients in more than 40 state counties, 10 federal districts, and before investigative agencies such as FINRA, SEC, state medical boards, the Commission on Judicial Conduct, and Attorney disciplinary committees. Jeremy Shockett, co-chair of Anderson Kill’s White Collar Group, commented, “I have worked across the courtroom and the table from Sam for more than 20 years in both Federal and State Courts. He is a tenacious advocate, has immense jury appeal, and always is an impeccable litigator. Bringing Sam on board will widen the scope of our white collar practice and enhance our ability to help clients assess their risks when they commence litigation or otherwise subject themselves to heightened scrutiny. Sam has seen everything, knows the signs of vulnerability, and knows how to both forestall enforcement action and prosecution when possible and how to minimize the penalties and fallout when legal action goes forward.”
Robert M. Horkovich, Anderson Kill’s managing shareholder, added, “Sam is one of the most effective and respected white collar defense attorneys in the country. We are thrilled to have him on the team at Anderson Kill.”
