Anderson Kill is pleased to announce that Raymond A. Mascia, Jr., a shareholder in the firm's New York office, is a 2021 winner of Business Insurance's Breakout Award, which honors "the most talented leaders emerging in the industry."
Introducing the 2021 Breakout honorees, Business Insurance notes, “The rising industry stars that we honor with the 2021 Business Insurance Break Out Awards not only adapted to a new way of working during the coronavirus pandemic but found ways to excel amid the challenging conditions.”
As a Breakout honoree, Ray is profiled in the June 2021 issue of Business Insurance. The profile is viewavble here.
Ray has made his mark playing pivotal roles in successful complex litigation on behalf of corporate and governmental policyholders in a broad range of insurance recovery matters, including matters involving long-tail environmental and asbestos claims, D&O coverage, professional liability coverage, general liability coverage, commercial crime insurance, and first-party property and business interruption losses arising from natural disasters and other perils. In addition to his successful litigation track record, Ray has been instrumental in negotiating coverage for settlements without the need for litigation, particularly in D&O claims.
Robert M. Horkovich, Anderson Kill's managing shareholder, commented, "We couldn't be more proud of Ray, who has developed into a truly formidable litigator. Ray has had a decisive impact in complex litigation involving dozens of insurance companies in liabilities spanning decades and reaching into the tens or hundreds of millions of dollars. He is also a skillful negotiator who can obtain favorable outcomes without resorting to litigation."
Ray’s Breakout Award follows his recognition as a Law360 Rising Star in 2020.
