Nearly two years after a fire ravaged the Goldens Bridge firehouse, the Goldens Bridge Fire District reached an agreement with Arch Insurance Co. and McNeil & Co. on the claims settlement for the extensive damage to the Goldens Bridge firehouse as well as the loss and damage to apparatus and other equipment caused by the Feb. 24, 2014 fire.
Dennis Artese of Anderson Kill PC, coverage counsel for the Goldens Bridge Fire District, said,
‘It is an economically prudent settlement for the district, the Goldens Bridge Fire Department and its dedicated members, and the community, factoring in the costs associated with retaining legal, insurance claims and other experts to help the fire district navigate through this complex and challenging process.”
