Mr. Palley, who joined Anderson Kill in April of 2016 in an of counsel capacity, focuses his practice on litigation, trial practice and insurance recovery. He also has deep experience in software design and development and is well-known in the cryptocurrency community.
Mr. Palley is co-chair of Anderson Kill's recently launched Blockchain and Virtual Currency group, a cross-disciplinary team that counsels businesses in these emerging technologies across the full spectrum of their legal needs, including litigation, insurance coverage, tax, intellectual property, corporate/transactional and employment law.
In 19 years of litigation experience, Mr. Palley has handled construction insurance disputes and other insurance disputes in state and federal courts across the United States, along with a broad range of commercial litigation, products liability and other matters.He has represented owners, general contractors, construction managers and others in insurance transactions and coverage litigation in connection with construction projects collectively worth tens of billions of dollars. He is a fellow of the American College of Coverage and Extra Contractual Counsel, an invitation-only association of preeminent insurance coverage lawyers with a minimum of 15 years practice experience.
In addition to representing clients in litigation, Mr. Palley works with technology clients on a broad range of issues associated with business creation, product design, licensing, development and ideation, as well as litigation and ongoing risk management and avoidance.

Mr. Palley holds a J.D. from Washington University School of Law, an M.A. from the University of Delaware, and a B.A., cum laude from Tufts University. He is admitted to practice in Washington, D.C., New York and Missouri.
