Marketing Coordinator

  • Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Prepare PowerPoint presentations and maintain repository.
  • Maintain events calendar for marketing initiatives.
  • Maintain database of collateral, including event presentations.
  • Organize and manage marketing collateral.
  • Create marketing performance reports.
  • Attend local trade shows and events as needed.

PowerPoint

    • Develop and maintain PowerPoint templates.
    • Collaborate with attorneys to create PowerPoint presentations for external events.

Social Media

    • Prepare posts, including content and graphics.
    • Collaborate with Team on templates.

Web Site

    • Coordinate with Team on website updates.
    • Collaborate with IT department, as needed.
    • Learn and maintain CMS skills.

Qualifications / Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree, marketing/communications preferred.
  • Experience with LinkedIn preferred.
  • Familiarity with Canva or WordPress is a plus.
  • Digital photography/videography is a plus.

Skills:

  • MS Office Suite:  Outlook / Word / Excel / PowerPoint.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Attention to detail and a “can do” attitude.
  • Able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Junior Paralegal


Salary Range: $60K - $65K

The Role:

We seek a Junior Paralegal to support a large, high-profile mass tort case.   The successful incumbent will:

Duties / Responsibilities:
  • Gatekeeper between team and voluminous client base / governmental agencies.
  • Liaise with trustees, family members and beneficiaries.
  • Routinely correspond with clients via telephone, email and facsimile.
  • Keep privileged documents and records secure.
  • Provide only accurate information to clients in a timely manner.
  • Consistently, immediately and thoroughly document communications with clients.
  • Update contact information for clients.
  • Prepare applications and forms accurately, Able to QC same.
  • Intense data entry using large excel files.
  • Conduct research to find critical missing data.
  • Able to creatively problem-solve.
  • Collect information necessary to complete reporting and filing requirements.
  • Record billable time daily.  

Qualifications / Experience:

  • Three to five years’ experience.
  • Bi-Lingual in Spanish a plus.
  • Notary Public or willingness to quickly become a Notary Public.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong references.

Skills:

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite; Strong Excel skills required.
  • Experience in Adobe Reader (combining / assembling documents)
  • Be detail-oriented, organized and attentive.
  • Manage deadlines.
  • Be efficient and reliable.

  The Gene Anderson Clerkship

(a 1L Summer Fellowship)

Anderson Kill is a full-service, mid-sized corporate law firm best known for its work in insurance recovery litigation representing policyholders in insurance coverage disputes.  In addition to its insurance coverage practice, Anderson Kill has a variety of practice areas, including commercial litigation, corporate law, trust and estates, construction, and white-collar defense.  The firm is headquartered in New York City, with offices in Philadelphia, PA, Stamford, CT, Washington, DC, Newark, NJ, Denver, CO and Los Angeles, CA.  This role will be located in our New York office.

 

In conjunction with Anderson Kill’s commitment to promote and advance the themes embodied by the firm’s founder Gene Anderson’s life, the firm has created a Clerkship in his name, a paid 1L summer position.  In awarding such a Clerkship, factors such as commitment to social justice causes, evidence of overcoming economic hardship, providing diversity and membership in protected classes to represent the make-up of the country, and grades and recommendations, shall be taken into account.

 
Interviewing for the Clerkship will take place in mid/late February 2024 for the summer position to commence in June 2024.  

Clerkship Parameters:

·         Paid 1L summer clerkship/fellowship position for approximately 8 weeks. 

·         Participate in Weekly Training Sessions with 2L Summer Associates.

·         35-hour work week.

·         $8,000 - $9,000 per semi-monthly payroll.

·         Location:  Anderson Kill’s New York office.

 

Qualified Applicant Should Possess:

·         3.1 GPA or higher.

·         B+ or higher grade in Legal Writing.

·         B+ or higher in Contracts, or if Contracts is a 2nd semester 1L course, then B+ or higher in Civil Procedure.

·         Strong legal writing and research skills.

·         Interest in litigation.
