Insurance Coverage for Sexual Abuse and Harassment Claims

Allegations of sexual abuse are claims of “bodily injury” that are covered by insurance where policyholders are sued for negligence-based claims arising out of such abuse.  However, insurance companies place many obstacles in the path of institutions seeking coverage.  Indeed, the insurance companies deny that they even issued a policy, accuse the policyholder of abetting the abuse, and play tricks with allocation to minimize coverage.  This webinar offers practical advice in how to deal with – and in some cases how to fight with – insurance companies trying to avoid their obligation to provide coverage for sex abuse claims.
