Cyber theft and liability continue to plague organizations and individuals alike.  Couple this with a less than kind insurance claims environment, and the conditions are right to create even greater risks to cyber insurance policyholders.  Hackers have made the terrain even more treacherous as recent variations of ransomware have the power to exfiltrate sensitive data, leading to not only business interruption losses, but to privacy litigation risks as well.  In addition, serious risks remain with continued exposure to class action, regulatory, and law enforcement exposures arising from compromises of computer security.   This session will address important developments in cyber risk management, provide an overview of important recent case law, and provide tips on how to navigate the challenging insurance claims environment.
